I would like to congratulate on Malaysian TEAM GP3 drivers and mechanics who won 3rd Indy 40 Enduro.
I would like to thank Prime Minister, Dr. Mahathir who attended and encouraged at the starting. I also would like to thank Co-Chairman, Mr. Fauzy, World Champion, Danilo Rossi, Ms. Rahibah, who took care of Japanese, and other parties.
I would like to let you know that all of us are very happy to have been able to participate in our favorite kart race at beautiful Morac Circuit, to meet Malaysians again, and to have such a wonderful time in a beautiful island, Langkawi.
I have seen each driver has made progress and predict that Formula 1 drivers will be born from some of them in the future. In Japan, the active Formula 1 drivers used to drive kart.
I am proud of having able to participate in this event because it has been listed in the CIK calendar and grown to a necessary event for MalaysiaÕs motor sports development.
I am looking forward World Finals of the Rotax Max Challenge 2001 which will be held next year. I think that having this event will be mooted to expand the MalaysiaÕs motor sports development as well as Indy 40.
We, Japanese team hope this Indy 40 will develop more and appreciate the efforts of all the parties concerned.
Participants from Japan increased from 4 teams 32 drivers last year to 6 teams 45 drivers this year. Japanese are attracted to this event and teams who could not participate in this year hope to participate in this event.
If World Finals of the Rotax Max Challenge 2001 would be held, we would participate in to compete worldÕs strong contestants.
Supporters also seem to have enjoyed the nature of Langkawi Island, marine sports, and dinner at Kuah.
More people will participate next year, so please support us.
