Congratulation to Mofaz Motorsport, Potential Line and Langkawi Development Authority for organizing the 2nd Indy 40 Enduro '99 The Prime Minister's Cup at the Morac International Karting Circuit, Langkawi.

With a leg of the prestigious Formula One Grand Prix being held at the Sepang Circuit in Octoder, the Goverment hopes to encourage the participation of private sector in mortorsport.

Go-karting has always been known as proving ground for the upcoming racing drivers, where they could learn correct driving techniques and skills. Being low-cost, karting is also an affordable means for teenagers to spend their time.

I hope the Indy 40 Enduro '99 will serve as catalyst for mass participation in mortorsports and also serve to introduce Langkawi as haven for go-karts enthsiasts

I also hope participants will spend some time exploring the natural beauty of Langkawi and its surrounding islands.

At the same time, I would like to extend my utmost appreciation to all the sponsors in making this event a great success.
